Setting advanced database properties
Advanced database properties include performance optimization and compression features, as well as ways to manage usability features such as unread marks and soft deletions.

You or users can set many of these properties per database in the IBM Lotus Notes client. For greater administrative convenience, you can also set many of the properties for multiple selected databases at once in the IBM Lotus Domino Administrator client.
